We had a reservation for four people at 1 p.m. but were not seated until almost 1:30. No reason was given for the delay, plus the hostess seemed to be seating people who arrived after us. Once we were finally seated, a member of our party (who wears a hearing aid) could not hear conversation at our table because of the loud background music, so we requested a quieter spot. We were able to move to a corner table, which was an improvement. The manager also might have lowered the volume of the music. If so, we appreciated that. Though the music eventually became louder again later. Our server was polite and friendly. He took our beverage order first, and we waited at least 10 minutes to receive two decaf coffees and a mimosa. Then he took our food order, very patiently answering our questions about the menu and suggesting a few shareable dishes. We chose to start with the crispy tater tots, which were indeed crisp and served with a barely spicy "voodoo sauce." The appetizer was nice but we probably wouldn't order it again. When the rest of our food arrived, everything looked delicious. There were two frittatas, the BLT and the grain bowl. One person loved the frittata, which came with beautiful mixed greens; another thought the frittata bland, considering it appeared to consist of only two eggs, one measly sliced fingerling potato, chopped kale and basil, and dots of cheese. The huge BLT got a thumbs-up. And the room-temperature grain bowl was tasty and deceptively filling; I took a third of it home. We finished by sharing the french toast with caramel sauce and whipped goat cheese. Everyone agreed it made a fine dessert despite being listed as a starter. The tab was close to $100 per couple. Not sure this meal was really worth that much money, but we had a pleasant time, our server was courteous and the ambiance was comfortable and homey. We'd entertain the idea of a return visit but definitely order more carefully and with the bottom line in mind.

It was our first time here and we loved it! Our server was also incredibly helpful and welcoming, a great guide. And the food was delicious.

Someone suggested we go to Agnes for Sunday brunch, and it was delicious! The pork belly, eggs, bread, and sauce were an amazing combination. The warm banana bread with honey butter topped off our meal so sweetly.

Truly a neighborhood gem! The array of cheeses is not to be believed and we absolutely loved the "fried chicken" which wasn't what we expected. What arrived was a perfectly crispy piece of chicken plopped on a bed of grains with kimchi. It was delicious! All their starters are fun and their "basic salad" is large enough to share. The sommelier is very knowledgeable as is the cheese monger. We highly recommend Agnes!

Although the cornbread eclair remains my favorite and is always enjoyable, the new dish I was excited to try (the Lamb French Dip) was not. I know it's a new take on a traditional thing, but the best thing (in my opinion) about a French Dip is that the meat is the star. It's thinly sliced and accented only by the au jus. The gravy/sauce on the Lamb French Dip was way too much. It became the star. It was thick and had cheese in it, so for me, it will not be something I order again.

Great food , good staff and minimal menu. Which means everything is good. Drinks Apps and entrees were all good. I will say no more.

Lovely brunch - fantastic menu with a varied choice including charcuterie boards and salads. Do not miss the chicken liver parfait on cornbread or the tater tots! Patio was covered and peaceful out of the sun and the shop put the front is so tempting. Service was excellent!
