Akbar's established in 1995 with 12 branches in the UK now opens it's doors in Blackburn with the most vibrant interior design located at King Georges' Hall. Authentic curry at it's best open from 5pm Monday to Sunday. Come and try our signature lamb chops, karahi dishes, giant nan bread and a very carefully selected choice of wines, beer and spirits. Not to forget our range of mocktails. Why not celebrate that special event in style by booking our VIP room accommodating up to 16 people.

We have been to many Akbar restaurants. This one is one of the best. Good food, friendly staff, lovely surroundings and as usual great food. Enjoyed by all.

Food and overall experience good until we were given another tables bill. If we hadn’t have noticed we’d have been charged more than double and had to write out our own bill on the back of a receipt.

First visit of a table of 4, we got seated really quickly and given menus straight away, took our drinks orders and they were on the table not long after. The food arrived piping hot, and lots of it, the Naan breadnis big enough to share. The food was really tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit

Good range of menu, we were a table of 4 adults all choosing something different. All meals were tasty but despite being medium heat were spicier than anticipated so take care when ordering. Service was superb & our waiter couldn’t do enough. Polite, attentive & friendly Would definitely recommend Prices were not budget but moderate
