   Two hours before our seating, we got a phone call canceling our reservation because their outdoor section has no weather protection. This is not disclosed when you book the reservation. After much back and forth, they offered to seat us at the bar instead. Then when we got there, the restaurant was half empty and we sat at a table. What an off-putting experience.

   This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic. The only downside is it’s a bit pricey and the portions are on the smaller side. We couldn’t stop ordering because the food was so so good. No regrets. A must visit.

   Definitely worth the splurge... every bite was more delicious than the one before. Plus they were able to accommodate a tricky food sensitivity! The service was impeccable.

   An exceptional birthday experience! Our server Anthony was top notch! Great food- colossal tiger prawns out of this world as were the scallops, tuna pizza, crab fried rice, spinach salad and halibut. Dessert over the top as well! The cigar box and how it is presented is delicious and unique! Mochi and apple churro too! Looking forward to returning soon!

   We as a family have been so very lucky to have traveled all over the world. We eat out quite often in search of the best restaurant ever! Four out of the five of us said Akira Back was a tie for the number one spot of all the places that we have ever been! We also unanimously agreed that Savannah was the very best server we have ever experienced and we mean that wholeheartedly!!!Savannah was our culinary guide through a sampling of the entire Akira Back menu. It was simply an outstanding and eclectic dining experience that included the freshest and highest quality ingredients available. She was highly professional, well versed and knowledgeable with all aspects of the menus, kind, funny, helpful, attentive, so interesting and just a pleasure to be around! Those few comments barely convey how exceptional she was. Savannah’s efforts made our holiday celebration so very special! Thank you so much for making our night at Akira Back literally the best ever!!!

   Brought my family down from Ohio, one of them didn’t even like fish, and tried everything and loved it all! Our server Savannah was truly special and gave us exceptional service, along with the GM Helvio stopping by to ensure everything was the way it should be. 🙌

   Good time as always, our server Lang was great, and the manager Michael came by to ensure everything was perfect. Food is always top tier!
