   Akira are good at what they do. Order from the set menu and you'll not be disappointed - pitch perfect sashimi in their trademark "box of delights" - and how can you go wrong with wagyu beef, with a little sushi set and miso soup on the side? Nice room, thoughtful service, good range of drinks. It's not cheap, but you wouldn't want it to be.

   Hours of operation are too short Opening hours are too short closing at five. The wait staff was a little less attentive to guests calling out. But the food was good.

   A regular to this restaurant but have noticed that sushi has gotten smaller, and some of the classic items on the menu have been swapped.

   A lovely restaurant, beautifully decorated and with great food. The service was excellent, staff were friendly, polite and attentive! Its pricey but the food quality seems to be top! We would definitely visit again!

   Food use to be alot better than this. We normally go for a special occasion as we think the food is absolutely amazing. But today was different. Potato salad missing alot of other ingredients that they use to make. The grill are no longer served in a big hot stone. The mushrooms which is our favourite does not taste the same anymore as it not serve sizzling hot. Food taste good but wont be going back anymore.

   The food was excellent and we loved our evening Only comment would be that we were not allowed to take home any left over food! This is very surprised on many levels

   Thank you for your 5 star review. We’re glad you enjoyed your experience at Akira. We do not have a licence to run a takeaway. For this reason, we don’t have containers and bags in our restaurant. Likewise, since we offer raw fish products, we also take into account hygiene conditions and working hard to achieve the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
