Akron is located on “Agia Triada” beach in Paleokastritsa, Corfu. Paleokastritsa is considered one of the most beautiful areas of Corfu and it's certainly one of the most famous ones. Akron has been here for twenty years, starting out as a simple bar offering refreshments and umbrellas to get out of the hot sun during summer. A few years back, we saw a growing demand for a restaurant with a contemporary kitchen: there just wasn't one. Tradition is fantastic, but innovation is better. We transformed into a full-service beach club.
People can come here in the morning and spend their whole day on the beach without having to move elsewhere for lunch or dinner. We serve drinks and snacks at the beach and we have a bar area, a pool area, lunch and a separate restaurant area which is also available for private parties.

                                                    Food drink and location were perfect only fault was we had to leave without dessert and second drink as couldn’t get someone to come take our order although we asked twice. Other than that minor issue a enjoyable dinning experience

                                                    Beautiful food, all home made. We had the fish spaghetti (sorry, I can’t remember the name of it) and the pork belly. I then had the fancy chocolate dessert which was amazing. Staff are lovely, very professional and friendly. We ate the three times in the week we were there as it was so good!!

                                                    We booked on line so really did not know what to expect Cannot fault this restaurant, food was excellent, service first class All staff were helpful and welcoming Just a wonderful night in a fantastic setting Would highly recommend

                                                    We came to Akron for our first year wedding anniversary and my days it didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful setting, outstanding customer service and the food is out of this world. Would recommend Akron to anybody. 10/10 on everything. Thank you so much for such a stunning evening.                                                     Spent 3 days in Paleokastritsa and Akron was by far our favorite place. Great vibe and atmosphere. Definitely recommend reserving beach lounges and umbrella on their site as their is very limited space on the beach - which makes it pleasant to sunbathe vs the overly crowded main beach. Met the manager and he was super nice as was the rest of the staff. Our lunch was delicious.

                                                    This place is NOT suitable for celiacs or anyone w a gluten intolerance. I ordered a Greek salad and chicken and was almost immediately sick. The waiter claimed the chicken wasn’t Gf, however the manager said it was. I wouldn’t risk it.
