The brunch special steak over giant biscuit and roasted potatoes and eggs was to. Die. For. Everyone’s food was great, of course the Al’s Salad of song and legend with the Russian dressing was divine. Our server was so helpful and gave us plenty of space, timing was excellent and menu advice spot-on. Al Biernats always delivers a great experience. Thank you!

The Al's salad was good. The steak Benedict a disappointment. It was on a biscuit and not a muffin and on top of the potatoes instead of having them on the side.

I absolutely love Al Biernat’s. Brunch, lunch or dinner are always amazing. The service is always top notch. This time, Tye took care of me, and his service was impeccable. I had Eggs Benedict, which were perfect & also ordered chicken salad to go. My son thoroughly enjoyed his chicken salad. I cannot praise Al’s enough. It’s never disappointing, but is always a highlight to you your day or evening!

I have lived in Dallas for over 25 years and had never been to Al Biernat’s until last night. My husband and I had a 7:30 reservation last night for our date night. I’ve always heard great things about the food, ambience, and service so I was looking forward to a great experience. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed. It all started with the service. We arrived early for our reservation and had a seat in the bar for a pre dinner drink. 7:30 came and went and no word on our table. Finally, at 7:55 as we were about to leave and go somewhere else, the hostess approached us for our table. No apology. Nothing. She just took us to our table. After that, we experienced good service and kudos to the sommelier for picking a nice bottle of wine. The food was underwhelming. The biggest issue we had was the service from the hostess. When you go to an establishment like this, you expect to be treated with excellent service. The least they could have done was to tell us they were running behind and apologize. I don’t expect to be treated like we are waiting in line and just another guest to be served. Due to this, we will not be back. Instead we will take our business to other establishments such as Trulucks or Ocean Prime that we normally frequent who deliver the customer experience, ambience and service we would expect from an establishment of this kind.

This is the gold standard of cozy, upscale restaurants. The attention to detail is impeccable. You are greeted by crisp linens and a bread basket. The flaky croissants, assorted sweet breads, and whipped butter set the scene for a delightful meal. We had the beef tenderloin Benedict. A flaky biscuit is topped by tasty spinach, fork-tender beef, and a fluffy sauce. We cut into the eggs and they soaked down over the biscuit layers like gold. The dish is designer comfort food at its finest.

Came in today with my husband for our 28th anniversary. We had brunch. I had the chicken and waffles for the 1st time and my husband had a dish with steak and poached eggs. My food was amazing, and hubby enjoyed his as well. We had no complaints. The mimosas were great too. Service was great. The waiter was attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back.
