A wonderful experience of flavors, a beautiful ambiance with a tasteful feel for the holiday and a strong value for service. A pinnacle moment was experiencing the LORIGHITTAS Octopus, Tomato, Pancetta, Lovage dish. Well worth the time and value to visit Al Coro.

A year ago we were blown away by everything! Food! Service! Ambiance they had a live band! This time around… food was on the heavier side not so surprising or not well balanced and so disappointed that the band wasn’t there Service was certainly on point but a two star Michelin should hit at all at all times…

An Excellent experience - despite some less-than-positive reviews but felt the service, and quality of the food were fantastic and I felt very good about Michelin 2-star rating. Well earned!

Some of the pasta dishes were exceptional, however, a few were quite spicy. Service went well in general but was somewhat inconsistent.

I had a good experience overall but by far not memorable. I have been to many Michelin restaurants most of them in France. At least the Michelin places I visited in the East Coast are nothing close to my experience in Europe. I did not feel the hospitality was deserving for a 2 star. While the client goes there to have an exceptional experience in a cuisine gastronomique, I felt that it was not a priority. For example, my last course was a lamb dish. I found it extremely heavy so I just had one small bite and stopped. The person who checked on me realized that I did not enjoy the dish at all. She acknowledged it and said sorry you did not like the dish. I was hoping that the staff was a little more attentive and genuine about the client having a good experience. I hope one day the level of Michelin restaurant in at least the East Coast (I have not been to a west coast yet Michelin restaurant) can reach that of Europe. Jihane

This is no way Michelin two stars worthy , not even one star. Maybe bib gourmet if I am so generous. I ate almost every Michelin three stars restaurants in nyc and also many two or 1 star , and always price was justified , but not this one! Please go other Michelin restaurants. This is not the one. Food, ambiance , service , music , all no.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Al Coro. The service was fantastic from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted by a friendly hostess who showed me to my table and offered me a drink. My server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He was happy to answer my questions. The chefs tasting was phenomenal, the flavors were well-balanced and the presentation was beautiful. I was especially impressed with the service at Al Coro. My server was always there to check on me and make sure I had everything I needed. He was also very knowledgeable about the wine pairing list and while we are traditionally not white wine aficionados, we were blown away by the one on the list.

We had a seven course tasting menu. The first five courses were quite delicious. The final savory courts, a Lamb saddle, was fairly bland and uninteresting. The desserts were also somewhat pedestrian. The cocktails were fabulous!
