    This was our first visit and we felt the food was quite good. I had the eggplant parm which was a little bit spicy and a fairly large portion but delicious smooth sauce with a lot of flavor. My partner had the gnocci and the cioppino. The menu desribed the gnocci as pan seared so we expected a nice crispy surface but it was soft. The cioppino was delicious with a rich saffron sauce and just the right mix of seafood. We will definitely return for another meal.

    This was our first time trying Al-Posto. I was excited to find Bachiole but was quite disappointed. I was given a steak knife to cut it which I found odd. The brachiole was very chewy and needed that steak knife to cut it. 5 small pieces were atop some meat sauce and all I tasted was beef. No true flavor. It should be cooked in the sauce for many hours rendering it very tender. The fact that it was $39 for the brachiole only added insult to injury. My husband got cacio e Pepe and it was good but the portion size was very small, especially for $25. Also, they charge $5 for a soda and it’s not refillable. Staff and ambiance were great, but we didn’t find value in mediocre food.

    Very attentive staff. Kevin was great. Delicious arancini! The dark chocolate boudino dessert was amazing

    Great service. Nice atmosphere and wasn’t too loud. The ricotta appetizer with ciabatta was fantastic, but the rest of what we ordered was just alright. The branzino was overpriced in my opinion and they even make you pay extra for a side. For the side I chose the potatoes, but they were way too oily. My wife got the mushroom risotto, but the flavor and texture of all the breadcrumbs they put on it overpowered the actual mushroom and risotto. Overall it’s a 3 stars from me.

    All were happy with the food. The one downside was the cold breeze that would blow from the front door when opened. The barrier was not enough

    One of my favorite places in Cincinnati. Fantastic food, wine and drinks and the staff there is wonderful as well.
