Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

There were 4 of us for lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The atmosphere was busy but relaxed and not too noisy. We always enjoy Albert's.

Good food, good service just lacking more GF choices on dessert menu as consequence neither diner had dessert so lost revenue and left unfulfilled

Our first visit to Alberts and I can wholeheartedly recommend this as the best restaurant in the area. The service was first class the food was excellent. Although this was a busy Sunday lunch service and the restaurant pretty much full, our orders arrived hot and in timely manner. We have dined in many good restaurants including some of the TV names and Alberts Standish is up with the best of them. The bill when it came was very reasonable

Service good as always. Food was excellent except one of the meals had a very burnt object on the fish plate. Having bitten into it it chipped part of his tooth. We told the waitress Charlotte straight away who asked the chef. He didn’t know so after we had finished she took the plate back so the chef could see. Apparently it was a very burnt potato. This should not of been on the plate and nothing was said . Disappointed really and we will think twice about returning or telling people. It’s a shame as we normally have a good meal.

We had such a lovely evening at Albert’s, from the table upgrade, to the excellent service from Emma. We all enjoyed the food and the ambience.
