A welcoming neighborhood restaurant on the edge of Boston’s West End, Alcove is filled with comfortable American fare with a New England seafood flair & great cocktails from hospitality veteran Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli. Both the airy dining room and large patio look out onto the Charles River & provide spectacular views of the Zakim Bridge. A stones throw away from the Garden, and within walking distance of the North End, Paul Revere House, Faneuil Hall, Freedom Trail, Downtown, Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution, Tea Party ships + museum, Haymarket, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, State House, ferries, & the Greenway.

The four of us enjoyed our meals. The server was very attentive and addressed our food sensitivities well. Food was all delicious, from focaccia and french fries to shrimp tacos and mussels and grain bowl. Even the side salad was crisp with delicious light dressing. Would definitely recommend.

We started with the prosciutto bites which were odd but decent. The mushroom radiatori was disappointing, not great flavor and not a mushroom to be found. If the sauce was supposed to be mushroom flavored then it didn't come through. I had the half chicken and smashed potatoes which were very good.

Great spot near TD Garden. The food (salmon and chicken) were perfectly cooked and flavorful, as well as the smashed potato and carrot appetizers. Stacy was very attentive and helpful in finding a gluten/dairy free meal. Seating is spread out so that even when the restaurant filled up, it was still not noisy.

Wonderful Christmas Dinner! The views amazing!! The poached salmon was incredible! Would have loved my martini in a martini glass - that was my only one star the rest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tables too close. You are stacked in like sardines. Menu limited. Food good but over priced. Not a place l will rush back to. Highlight was our server, CiCi - outstanding!

Took extremely long time to get our entree. Got appetizers quickly, then hour gap before entrees arrived despite telling server we were trying to make event at TD. Monkfish croquets very salty. Otherwise food was good.
