A beautiful setting overlooking the Chavon river. Great menu with delicious food, impeccably prepared. Attentive service by Maximo and his staff. Going back soon! Highly recommend.

Incompetent staff. Restaurant did not notify security of our booking. Phone does not answer (busy tone) and then claims no show. Just avoid this place entirely.

Very subtle restaurant with an amazing view. We had a great table with an outstanding open view of Chavon River and all the nature surrounding Altos de Chavon. Service was attentive and kind. Food was good, not superb but I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends

I booked a birthday dinner way in advance which I was looking forward too. Everything was confirmed via email. Once I got to the place I was sent to reception and only then was told " they do not accept outsiders, you must have a room with them in other to dine" You could imagine my disappointment as a tourist, on her special day! How can a restaurant have a very public, open forum to book and accept reservations online, with no disclaimer stating that, I needed to be staying on property? Not even a room number was requested when booking. This was not only disappointing but they were also no help going back and forth saying the restaurant needs to confirm and the restaurant saying vice versa- it was a joke!! I had no idea that this was a part of a hotel. The restaurant came up on my search online as we were planning our trip to DR. DO BETTER!!!
