The Alex Surf Club is arguably the best seat on the beach with great food and friendly service all in one incredible location. Grab a seat at one of our great dining locations in the Bistro, Kiosk or Bluff Bar and your taste buds will be rewarded!

Our menus feature great family value meals cooked with some of the best locally grown and made produce on the Sunshine Coast.

Please note bookings 1-7 persons have 1.5 hours on table and 8+ persons have 2 hours.

Enjoyable evening excellent food and service. Very busy with loud noise only to be expected with such a crowd. Felt very rushed to finish our meals, only just started our entree when our main meals arrived with nowhere to place all of it on the table. Poor management.

Got your money why should we care best describes our experiences at this venue. Food was very good , however service and processes were unprofessional . 2 of our 4 dishes were share plates with no side plate or spoons , serving pasta meal with knife and fork as only option as cutlery pre packed . If you wanted cutlery you should have asked for it when ordering your meal was response from server with our meals when we enquired about lack of cutlery. Starter and main arrived within 2 minutes of each other. then had to ask for our dessert 45 minutes after our finished empty plates had been cleared which had sat on table for 15 minutes.

The food was fantastic couldn’t fault it. The girl taking my order was pleasant but I felt she only wanted to talk to the male staff rather than complete my order. Our server was extremely friendly and courteous as was the lady who came to clear the plates. We were there at 5pm and gone before 6pm, it was a Monday night and not during school holidays.

We enjoyed an outstanding lunch meal for a birthday treat. The 'special board' rib-fillet with mashed potato and broccolini was perfectly done, as was the chicken parmigiana, chips and coleslaw. Very good size meals and reasonable price drinks sealed the deal. Will definitely dine there again and would highly recommend.

Nice location on the beach and good kids area but the food was disgusting. I would compare to burnt airplane food. I felt sick after eating. Even messed up kids chicken nuggets.

Service was great with quick food delivery. Food was awful. Paid $79 for a seafood platter for 2. Noticed one day later that the price went up to $85. Most things were way too salty, almost inedible. Prawns and oysters had little taste. Scallops were burnt and the size of a 1 cent piece. Should have ordered something else. Pizza looked good. Expected so much more with the most expensive item on the menu.

Have been to Club twice this week as Nd both times have had a great meal and enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Top club

Oysters kilpatrick were divine and salt & pepper calamari was cooked beautifully as always. Hubby had the Thai beef salad but wasn't impressed as too oily and too much nuts and not enough 'salad'.

We waited an hour for our meal and noticed many diners who arrived much later than us had received theirs. We approached the counter to question and were told “there had been a mix up”.
