   My first time here for our anniversary was amazing so I decided to bring a friend for her birthday before a concert. I thought 2 hours would have been plenty of time since the concert was less than 5 minutes away. Our server was nice but extremely slow and inattentive. Drink took forever from the bar. We ordered an appetizer and waited at least 20 minutes after we finished to place our dinner order. At this point we had already been there an hour and 20 minutes. The booth by the door was freezing. We moved to a warmer spot before our meals were served. The lamb was rare instead of medium rare and the carrots were so undercooked they couldn’t be pierced with a fork. Had we had more time, I would have sent it back…but we weren’t promptly checked on to see if everything was alright. We were almost done before the second round of drinks we ordered were delivered to the table. Extremely frustrating and highly disappointed with the experience tonight. After getting the bill, I definitely should have sent the food back… it wasn’t worth 1/3 of what we paid and we missed 30 minutes of the concert because of the slow service.

   Our first experience was fantastic and the food was good. This time we had some bad shrimp and my (medium rare) steak came out very rare on half of it. Wasn’t cooked evenly and was riddled with stringy non chewable pieces . If you credit yourself for being a great steakhouse, you should at least get the steak part right. Especially if you’re charging that much. Probably just an off night for the chefs.

   Entrance to the restaurant was pretty and the restaurant itself was very nice. Service was excellent and our server (Rachel) was very informative and attentive. The food was decent but in my opinion, over priced. I ordered a pasta dish and added a meatball. The meatball was $10! The espresso martini was like nothing I’ve ever had and I still can’t decide if that’s a compliment or a criticism. My husband ordered the seafood pasta ($48) and for that price he was hoping for some flavor to it. He ended up taking it home and seasoning it to give it ANY flavor. Overall a good experience due to our company, server and atmosphere but I wasn’t impressed by the food. Average at best.

   Brittney did an amazing job, super touch notch, however paying $69 for a steak plus $35 for Oscar style, which by the way, they appeared to run out of crab based on what was presented just wasn’t worth it. The crab was three pieces that was maybe a touch over an inch long and flat, potentially imitation??? From a steak perspective you get way more value at Red or Marble Room. They did a great job with the Caesar salad and again the service was excellent. When I got the bill, I felt it was odd that they shared the owners cell and asked me to text him with good or bad input. It made me feel like micromanagement from a far was the way the business was run. Again, just the way it felt… No plans to return.

   Bit overpriced for the quality of food and drinks. Whipped potatoes only tasted like rosemary, steak was overcooked. Would recommend Ken Stewart’s Lodge instead for better quality, lower price and a nice ambience
