   This is our third time at Alexxa's and it never dissapoints. All the servers we've had are good but this time we had Maggie and she is one of the best servers we've had (in all of our dining out experiences). She is very thoughtful, personable and checks up very frequently which I really liked. When you go please ask for her!

   After a lovely breakfast here a couple of days earlier we decided to return. Sadly it was no where as nice as our first visit. Firstly our breakfast tea was lukewarm and when asking out server if we could have hotter water we were told she didn’t have access to a microwave? She did replace our teapots with hotter water after using the steamer to heat it out more. Secondly, my meal was awful. The server took my order, eggs fried with crispy bacon. It arrived with the eggs fried to within an inch of their lives and the bacon so crispy it was dry and disintegrating into dust when you touched it. I explained the problem to the server to which she replied “that is what fried eggs are over here and so you don’t actually want crispy bacon”. As it was the exact same order I placed 2 days previous I knew exactly what it could be like. To cut as long story short, the main problem was our server. Our previous server asked how we wanted eggs, over easy etc and our bacon. This one obviously was not particularly interested in our table and made it clear. I was willing to go without leaving a tip of any kind due to her attitude, but didn’t.

   Alexxa’s is one of our favorite places to eat while in Vegas. We have had their breakfast, dinner, and have stopped by at night just for dessert. Everything we have tried has generous portions, which makes sharing easy and saves money. The food is delicious and nicely presented. The staff is super nice and on top of things. They go out of their way to insure your time there is enjoyable. I highly recommend Alexxa’s.

   Great service. We shared an Italian chopped salad which was excellent. Also had the calamari and shrimp appetizer. The appetizer could’ve used more calamari and shrimp with fewer fried vegetables. Lastly, we shared a pizza with white cream sauce and mushrooms with arugula. Taste was good but could’ve cooked a bit longer and the mushrooms were all bunched toward the middle of the pizza.

   Filet mignon was the best of my life! Perfectly salted and cooked well. Couldn’t get enough! Accompaniments were fair. Truffle fries were decent, Brussels sprouts were just okay (a bit hard), and baked potatoes were simple yet good.

    The service is always on point… Food even better. Brunch egg choices are always our favorite. The Maple old fashion is our drink of choice.
