Alfi is a joyous Italian bar and restaurant in Spitalfields that will take you on an Italian holiday.

We are nestled under the canopy of Spitalfields market but the wine, cocktails and food menu will take you on a journey around Italy.

We have an open kitchen with an outdoor grill and pizza oven overlooking the market.

The wine list features a large selection of natural wines and a strong italian influence.

The cocktails are crafted in house and there is Bocce & Darts to keep everyone entertained.

Sat for ages before eventually calling someone over to order a drink while I waited for my guests. Then about 45min my drink arrived and it took ages for the wine to arrive so we left. Didn’t eat here so not sure on food

Tasty food. Good wine. Waiters slow to bring menu, water and take drinks order. They could be friendlier and smile more!

Service was poor due to distractions by a private party, and it was Saturday night, although the staff were very friendly and helpful

Mulled wine was lively. Good service. Nice food & easy to get to when working in the Liverpool Street area.

Food was delicious, we were a group of 8 girls and we have a very nice evening !! The staff was friendly! Cocktails were very good too. Highly recommended

Love Spitalfields sadly very disappointed with experience. Service 1st class but food not ! Sunday afternoon not busy and yet couple of pasta dishes not available ( out of 5!) Food lacked seasoning , our two fish dishes bland. Bruschetta served on slices of limp brown bread, just chopped up tomatoes lacking in garlic olive oil or salt ! Nothing seemed really hot & I would guess not experienced & definitely not Italian cooks in kitchen . Pizza was ok . My daughter’s mock tail was SO bitter with too much lemon in which was changed . @ £175 for 4 people not cheap either . We love music but seated on table under speaker which was too loud . We are not fussy people but just very disappointed as booked for my son’s 19th birthday . Staff lovely but come on Alfi with so much competition in the market for food you really need to up your game ! We visited thier sister venue Players Lounge later on for drinks & shuffle board. Atmosphere more lively , had a fab time and drinks would return here again but not unfortunately to Alfi for food !
