What a fabulous evening at Alice B! The service was kind and welcoming. I had the Branzino and absolutely loved it. The biscuits were great and we loved the ice cream dessert.

This was our second visit and it was as excellent as the first! The cheddar biscuits are fantastic! The chimichurri chicken was moist and delicious. The grilled cheese best ever! Our server was attentive and checked in with us throughout our meal. Highly recommend!!

I had dined last month, having the avocado toast. Was so impressed that I returned to have it again. It was disappointing. The salad was a few pieces of arugula, hardly visible. The lox was not as good as I remembered. The service was poor. Coffee was not refilled without asking, server rarely seen. Maybe an off day??

It’s not bad, but it’s not great! Alice B’s is like a restaurant that wants to be one thing (upscale, elegant, classy), but falls short of each category. Food, while having good flavor, lacks in presentation and depth of flavors. Ambiance could be improved with functional lighting, and light background music. I’m not a fan of live music that drowns out conversation. This is my third time eating in the bar, and the service is always the same ( not on point at all). Spotty at best, we were given food with no plates or silverware, and then for silverware we got two forks and a large spoon, but no knives. Ever spread butter on a biscuit with a fork? I think the staff could use some better training.

Disappointed- I had high hopes and high expectations from the chefs that published the Silver Palate cookbooks. I saw a good review on Instagram and really wanted to love this restaurant. I was disappointed. the cheddar biscuits were amazing, crisp on the outside and bursting with flavor! It was a good start…but the half chicken with chimichurri was so dry and tough that I wondered if it was left over from the day before. The pasta of the day was good but the sausage was flavorless and bland. I asked about vegan friendly dishes and was told there were four things on the menu that “could be made” vegan… three were vegetable “sides” that had to be altered. I asked because I had invited vegan friends that had excitedly accepted then cancelled a day later. Now I know why. Not sure I’d go back.

Of all of the amazing restaurant options throughout Palm Springs, this is not at the top Of my list. We had very high hopes and couldn’t wait to try it out with all the hubbub and the very full dance card… With not a lot of availability for dining options. So we finally got a reservation and we took some friends. Service was impeccable. Paul is an outstanding waiter. Long story short is none of us were overwhelmed with the food. It was good. I would never run back there. I had a fillet, it was very iron tasting was not juicy nor delicious. It was just OK. These little fritters are excellent. There’s really not much more to say. At the price point, there are so many more interesting menus and way more flavorful food availability. I wish them the best. I don’t think they’re going to have any problems staying busy. But it’s not a restaurant I would really ever run back to.
