Not a restaurant for a nice experience. It’s an empty room with tables. Food is the quality of a bar experience…

For a hotel restaurant it’s bumping but the food was subpar I asked for medium rare steak and I got well done and the sauce on top was so citrusy it ruined the steak for me , didn’t pay attention to booming didn’t realize it was a hotel resturant but it was cute .. under staffed waiter had about 15 tables all by himself but he did a good job I most likely won’t return but thank you

Space is typical for a newish hotel. We were there for lunch and the place was empty. Food selection seemed limited. I played it safe by ordering the burger. Fries were barely warm. The burger looked like it was from Shake Shack and was meh. Word to the wise -skip dessert. Highlight-sinks in the ladies room were unique and fanciful. Look for the red ladybug in the pattern.

The only good thing about this restaurant was Charles, our server. Probably one of the worst meals ever. For a Montclair restauarant and a Marriott hotel, they really need to improve. Food was actually all terrible and incredibly salty to make up for flavor. Veggie burger was complete mush and calamari appetizer is good for oje person, not a family. Charles was attentive and stopped by multiple times to check on us and was the only reason we didn’t complain about the horrible food we tried to eat. We will never return

Do not eat here. Food is mediocre at best and service is probably the worst I have experienced in a long time. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We were told to sit anywhere (no one else was in the restaurant which should have been our first warning). When we chose a table we were then told we couldn't sit there. I found the manager who pretended to care that we weren't greeted and found us a table. That was the last we saw of him. We waited a long time for service and when the food came, we had no silverware, which was eventually brought to us and practically dumped on the table. Our dessert was brought while plates were still on the table and when I asked them to take the plates away so we could eat our dessert we were told he couldn't. The noise from the bar carried into the dining area. This was not good for our older guest who found the noise challenging but may not be an issue for other people. What a miserable experience.

No ambiance and very limited menu. Food was relatively dull, and only one or two items on the menu were appealing.

We actually did not eat here. We were looking forward to a high end dining experience, as the website seemed to allude, but it was basically a sleepy hotel bar. A very nice one! And the people were very nice (so I gave 4-stars for service), and the ambiance was nice…. For a hotel bar. We were disappointed this was not made more clear when we booked the reservation.

I’ll go there again only if it’s raining hard. They do have comp valet parking. Made reservations for the dining room and when we got there were told a group of about 20 people had reserved the entire dining room that held maybe 100 places. We could sit in the lounge. If it hadn’t been raining we would have left. Food was ok but when we asked for bread they didn’t have any. Really? My wife asked for Sangria and was brought something else for $14 a glass that tasted like red ink. Coffee after dinner usually comes with sugar but had to ask. Server brought 3 little bags. There are no table cloths so utensils are put on the table between courses just as previous diners did. Were they sanitized between customers? Yuck. Dinner of 2 salads 2 fish entrees one dessert and one drink was $155. Plus tip. Definitely an Allegory for a real restaurant. The good news is there are always tables available. I wonder why?

Food was good, service was okay. Was sat at a table that was not very clean. We had reservations and no one knew was what happening. Didn’t even have utensils to eat. The floors looked like the place need it a mopping. Honestly we could have gone to the diner
