   Went for an annual Xmas get together on my recommendation. Service was good - very attentive and on it. Four people with different tastes and different dishes ordered. Most were good however the French Onion Soup - which I had recommended as had eaten before- was so oily. I am not sure but there was about 1/2 inch of oil floating on it - probably from the cheese (or at least hoping and wasn’t poured on) but it was a lot and made it hard to eat. Everything else was great so could have just been a bad cheese choice that night for the soup- will try again.

   Tables are stacked right up to the door. Music got louder and louder cause the guests and staff to speak louder and louder. Was not an ideal location for our dinner.

   We had an unforgettable dinner at @alouetteyvr, and we couldn’t be more grateful! A special shoutout to our incredible server, Paul, and the Manager/Sommelier, who went above and beyond to make our evening truly magical. I savored the Coq au Vin, which was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, generous portions, and served at just the right temperature, with impeccable timing between dishes. The Sommelier, who also happens to be the Manager, impressed us with his deep knowledge and passion for wine. Together with Paul, they created an exceptional dining experience we’ll never forget.    One of my most favourite places to have lunch in downtown Vancouver. Fabulous food, service and the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. Friendly and excellent service all round.

   Beautiful quiet space that really felt like a French bistro. The attentive waitress, Juanita and manager Fame' were delightful and steered us to a delicious meal and wine. We would return for the ambience, amazing wine list, delicious food and impeccable service again and again and will!

   The potatoes in the baked brie were uncooked. Our table was adjacent to the kitchen. Timing of the courses was way off.

   We both had Le burger and it was excellent. Very juicy and quite large. The steak tartare was prepared table side and was also very good.

    I had the Salade Nicoise, and it was quite delightful. I do not dine out much, so I'm always taken aback by how expensive everything is. Having said that, I would recommend this restaurant for a delicious light (yet filling) lunch.
