In a distant European city, Fabian and Miriam vanished into the Alps, trading their city lives for mountain solitude. Once busy young professionals, their days were consumed by demanding careers, their rare weekends cherished for dining out and dancing, occasionally venturing into the mountains.

But destiny intervened when Miriam inherited her grandfather's Alpine hut, nestled amidst the rustic charms of the mountains. They cut ties with the city, forsaking it for good. Days were spent farming, foraging, crafting cheese, and making wine. Nights brought cooking, baking, wine-drinking, and stargazing.

Friends from the city visited, but Fabian and Miriam never looked back. They were drawn deeper into the mountains, caught in the Alpenrausch's dual meaning—the exhilaration of mountain air and the intoxication of good company, fine wine, and schnapps.

    We had the Tour de Alps which is their tasting menu and it was AMAZING. Everything was amazing and perfectly seasoned. Wasn’t sure how Alpine food was going to be but it was truly an experience and so so enjoyable. Don’t sleep on the cocktails either, they were some of the best I’ve had.

    Super cozy setting inside, warm nostalgic scents in the air set the tone for a lovely dinner! The wine and spirits selection are superb. This time we tried some new (to us) food selections and were very pleased. Thank you!

    Great people - lovely vibe - excellent food. The salads, in particular, had no business being so delicious, given their Austrian/Südtirol influence.

    The food was… fine. We did the Tour des Alps and it was an incredible value (LOTS of plates), but there were very few items we really enjoyed. (The pretzel was amazing and the pear salad and jägerschnitzel were delicious.) Our other challenge was the coursing. Our meal took four hours. I don’t like to be rushed, but that felt excessive. We were sitting outside, which didn’t help with the timing. Would I go back? Yeah, sure. Would it be my first choice? Nope.

    I've dined here twice recently. It's my go-to choice in winter. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is unique - I feel transported. A few cautions: - Make sure to choose a "standard" reservation if you want to sit inside - It can get loud - The bench for waiting to be seated is outside - protected from the elements, but not as warm as inside Dishes you might not think to order, but exceeded my expectations: Salats - all three Käsespätzle Poached trout The service was warm, helpful, and knowledgeable, e.g. making good wine suggestions and offering to let me try them first. We ordered the chefs menu once and was happy with that experience. I haven't done the math, but it seemed close enough in terms of the bill. We got to have a little bit of input into what we wanted. The upside is it stretched us to try some less familiar dishes. So if you can only get a reservation marked chefs choice it may still be very worthwhile if everyone in your party is adventurous and omnivorous.

    Food was great and our waitress was very friendly but the wait for food was too long. For 2 people it took nearly 3 hours from when we got menus to when we got the check.
