The food and experience (environment) were AMAZING.. the service, not so much. We experienced almost NO service while dining actually… the beginning of this experience started with my boyfriend and I arriving 10 minutes early and being told by one of the hosts that I would be “5minutes.. 8 MAX” after checking us in and going back to talk to our server… we continue to stand there for 15 minutes before a different hosts comes up, checks us in again and telling us I’d be another 5 minutes… so we waited nearly 25 for our reserved gondola (15 minutes late of my reservation time) — the one time our server came to check on us in about 45 minutes was when he saw me struggling to get out of the gondola to ask for 2 sides of butter that I had been waiting 25 minutes to ask for. He did not check on us again either. We were completely done eating for about 10-15 minutes, just sitting there while they checking out ALL FOUR other gondolas and left us sitting there… my husband had to wave him down to attention to ask for the check. Between the extra 15 minutes waiting for out set time and gondola and 15-20 more minutes after we’d finish eating, just being ignored, caused us to have to pay $65 at the parking garage instead of $45 since we went over our 2 hours by 17 minutes. Overall, I have to rate this a 3 star because the food was genuinely AMAZING and booking the gondola was a SAVE because the inside of the restaurant was SO loud but between being led on (which costed me more money) and the lack of service while dining that I spent more money to have was pretty disappointing…
