    Alpenrose is a wonderful spot in the center of Vail Village. The food is outstanding and the ambiance is charming and perfect for an enchanting evening. Pretzels, fondue and schnitzel are some of our favorites on the menu. Always a great time!

    Excellent meal and great ambiance reminds of times in Germany and Switzerland. Great vibe and excellent service. The meal offering is very authentic and true to my experience in Europe. Authentic but not kitschy. Even after the Covid challenges, Alpenrose continues to shine in Vail! Highly recommend!

    I would have preferred an inside table. Out on the “patio,” it was too chilly. And the bench, instead of a chair with a back, was uncomfortable. Ambience & wait staff were terrific. Food (& its presentation) were also great! It is one of our favorite restaurants in Vail! Don’t miss the pretzel & the fondue!
