Alta Strada continues to be one of the best dining spots in the Boston area. The warm service is wonderful and the food is consistently great. And the cocktails - excellent as well!!

Alta Strada is one of my favorite restaurants. It did not disappoint on this visit. The servers are friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Our meals were delicious, from appetizers to pasta entrees to dessert.

The food was excellent. The price was steep. The service on the night we went was surprisingly inattentive for the price we paid. We were there with kids, not to linger, and we ended up skipping the dessert my daughter was looking forward to because it took so long to get someone over to clear our plates. It was getting late -- this was after the dinner rush had died down, and waitstaff was hanging out and chatting. I would not have thought much about it had the bill been 1/3 of the price... It was actually a bit slow throughout the meal, but tolerable

We’ve been to Altra Strada several times now with goods friends and each time has a great meal and experience…go, but don’t take our table 😊

Food and service was top notch! If I can add 1 ‘thought’: if you’d remove just 1 block of tables along the booth wall I think it would make a world of difference. The server kept bumping against our table while she scooted in to serve our neighboring tables. Just a little more space would create a more intimate setting. My husband and I prefer ‘date night’ seating and I feel there’s only possibly 2/3 tables that would meet that desire. Finally- I DO want to thank the mgr for allowing us to stay at a 4 person table(as we were only 2). The alternative would really have had an impact on my review. PS. Just omit 1 table😁
