   Stayed at Arlos Midtown so very convenient to have breakfast at Altair. Outstanding place…great all around. Would come back even if I am not staying at the hotel.

   Group of 8 sat in the bar area. Happy Hour pricing until 7pm was great! Perfect spot for a larger group to catch up and unwind. Pretty Christmas decor and our server was great!

   We were a large group of 12, service was absolutely fabulous, food was delicious, drinks great, holiday decor was stunning and the ambience was festive and fun. My only not necessarily a complaint but an observation is while the food was fabulous there just wasn't enough, the seabass I ordered was heavenly, however it would have been perfect if something accompanied it, like a vegetable? The entire group agreed on this issue. Otherwise we loved it, didn't feel rushed, we were there for 3 hours. Spectacular.

   It was a little tricky to find the actual restaurant because it was inside of a hotel. Otherwise it was absolutely lovely. I had a party of 7. 3 of my guests arrived early, and were seated at my reserved table immediately. Junior was our server and took wonderful care of us. We ended up staying for a few hours because it was a reunion of friends and no one rushed us out. The Host actually said he loved our groups energy and welcomed us back. We had a great time. I highly recommend!

   Had a great experience at Altair! The food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. There was live jazz at the bar of the hotel as well. I did note that it was my birthday on the reservation and that was not acknowledged except by the host (who merely mentioned, “you’re celebrating a birthday?”) lol but otherwise it was a nice night :)

   Food delicious and service good. Careful on what you order though—serious shrinkflation on the duck—2 pieces of breast (not even full breast) for $36. More of an appetizer portion really. Luckily endive salad nice size.

    We managed to get a last minute booking on a Tuesday evening and were welcomed warmly. Our server was knowledgeable and accommodating. The cocktails were great, and lots to choose from, catering for all tastes. Being vegetarian I was particularly excited about the range of dishes available to me. The dish I had, however, was quite bland and required salt (gnocchi). It also had a medium spice level which I wasn’t expecting as this wasn’t indicated on the menu. It would be good if vegetarian/plant based dishes were not made spicy just to give some sort of flavour as this only added heat but no flavour. We had the salad too which also was too spicy for me and again no indication on the menu! My fiancé had the duck which he said was excellent. Would come back again, however I would ask about the spice level of dishes before ordering.
