    I had booked the dining room and when we got there early for a pre show dinner, there was not a person in the place and the hostess first sat us in the atrium at a tiny table and it was so hot. Hostess was very rude in general. We asked to be moved to the dining room which had a much nicer table but had weird hip hop type music blaring. I’m not sure what kind of vibe they are trying to put out, but it was strange. Drinks were eh- very sweet and not very strong. Dinner roll was delicious and big (definitely enough for 2 or 3), octopus was so so, not sure what was up with the potatoes but lacked flavor. The hanger steak was very tasty. Two servers we had were nice and attentive.

    went for a birthday the table was a bit tight but everything else was fantastic. The food, the people, the environment. I highly recommend you check this place out!

    Stayed at Arlos Midtown so very convenient to have breakfast at Altair. Outstanding place…great all around. Would come back even if I am not staying at the hotel.

    Group of 8 sat in the bar area. Happy Hour pricing until 7pm was great! Perfect spot for a larger group to catch up and unwind. Pretty Christmas decor and our server was great!

    We were a large group of 12, service was absolutely fabulous, food was delicious, drinks great, holiday decor was stunning and the ambience was festive and fun. My only not necessarily a complaint but an observation is while the food was fabulous there just wasn't enough, the seabass I ordered was heavenly, however it would have been perfect if something accompanied it, like a vegetable? The entire group agreed on this issue. Otherwise we loved it, didn't feel rushed, we were there for 3 hours. Spectacular.

    It was a little tricky to find the actual restaurant because it was inside of a hotel. Otherwise it was absolutely lovely. I had a party of 7. 3 of my guests arrived early, and were seated at my reserved table immediately. Junior was our server and took wonderful care of us. We ended up staying for a few hours because it was a reunion of friends and no one rushed us out. The Host actually said he loved our groups energy and welcomed us back. We had a great time. I highly recommend!

    Had a great experience at Altair! The food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. There was live jazz at the bar of the hotel as well. I did note that it was my birthday on the reservation and that was not acknowledged except by the host (who merely mentioned, “you’re celebrating a birthday?”) lol but otherwise it was a nice night :)
