This was our first time to Alter Brewing and we were not disappointed! Fast, friendly service. Amazing food and drinks. I don’t drink beer or eat meat and I was still able to find great choices on the menu! Will be back again.

We are looking forward to going back when the weather is warmer. The food and service were excellent, but the noise level put a damper on the evening. We will go again when we can sit on the patio.

Michelle was a great server and we remember her also as a very attentive bartender! We told her that we have to leave for a show within the hour so we needed to order our food and drinks fast, and she delivered it fast on a busy Friday night. Great job Michelle and the drink & food runners. Well run restaurant with a good team of people working together as I’m also in the hospitality industry and I live in the OB apt high-rise across the parking lot. So I will be a regular here! This was my second time at Alter Brewing . I loved the Friday Lenten menu items. We shared a small pretzel; and then we ordered a salmon lunch salad and salmon tacos. It was well prepared and tasted excellent. I will be back next Friday hopefully!

Went to Alter in OB on Saturday night and the place was very busy. Noise levels a bit elevated, but not the end of the world, however the service was not great. I saw a lot of servers & support staff running around, but our server was pretty much MIA most of the night. Food came out in reasonable time once ordered and the items we ordered were pretty tasty. The Rueben sandwich was big & classic in its preparation and the burgers are supposed to be very good as well. Beers were not high end craft beer, but are brewed to appeal to the masses. Overall, an experience above a typical chain restaurant and a nice venue, although parking on a Saturday night was a bit of a challenge.

The menu could be expanded, service was fair at best, very noisy with the band and don’t agree with surcharge on credit card - I will most likely not go back -
