The Somalia was wonderful and helped us pick the perfect bottle of wine. The food was delicious but portions were small. Overall we really enjoyed it.

My husband and I agreed it was the best service we’ve had in years there. Always a beautiful view! Food was good overall. My halibut had a tough crust on top that it shouldn’t have.

Dining at Altezza is always a delight. But the real showstopper? The view. Perched on a hill overlooking the golf course, pool and surrounding mountains. Altezza offers breathtaking sights that elevate the dining experience to another level. As the sun sets, the golden hues dance on the water and reflect off the mountain peaks creating a magical backdrop that’s nothing short of mesmerizing. The ambience is perfectly curated—soft lighting, gentle music in the background, and just the right amount of buzz from fellow diners. It feels alive yet peaceful, energetic yet relaxing. Food was good and portions were sufficient. Highly recommend reserving a table by the window or on the patio (in the summer) to truly appreciate the setting.

Food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Service was great. Sides were large and easily shared. Thousand layers potatoes and brussels were a hit! They had an extensive wine list. Will return again.

I walked into this dining experience with high hopes, only to leave thoroughly disheartened. Let me explain. The troubles began with the drinks. After a 35-minute wait, our cocktails arrived—three of the seven were glaringly underpoured, having sat unattended at the bar for at least 20 minutes. Our server promised replacements, but instead, the manager intervened, initially allowing us to keep the drinks while replacements were prepared. Moments later, she reversed course, retrieving the original glasses instead. It was an awkward and disorganized start. The food, however, proved to be the greater disappointment. Our table ordered two tomahawk steaks priced at $240 each, accompanied by Brussels sprouts, risotto, mashed potatoes, and fries. While the Brussels sprouts arrived hot and well-seasoned, everything else—including the steaks—was unforgivably cold. For such a premium cut, served at 56 ounces, the meager one-ounce serving of sauce felt like an insult. Adding to the dismay, two guests opted for the elk at $56 each, only to find their plates just as cold as the rest of the meal. When the manager returned to inquire about our satisfaction, we voiced our concerns. She graciously offered a 15% discount, but even with that gesture, the bill—just shy of $1,000—felt like a poor exchange for the lackluster experience. For a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining establishment, the execution fell dramatically short. At this price point, expectations of seamless service, well-executed dishes, and attention to detail are not optional—they’re the baseline. While the décor and menu descriptions promised much, the evening left me wondering if those promises were ever meant to be fulfilled.

The food was excellent and the presentation of the food was beautiful! Especially my halibut entree. My friends both ordered filets and they were prepared to order and very flavorful and tender. All the staff worked extremely hard to provide an enjoyable experience and we enjoyed our dinner. There is a ton of potential with the ambiance, given the gorgeous views outside and floor to ceiling windows. But the tables and overall setup inside has a very makeshift feel, including random banquet style tables and other commercial items sitting around in various places, and a table in the middle of the restaurant that is storing cleaning supplies, plates, and other tableware right out in open view. There is opportunity to make the ambiance of this restaurant really lovely which would certainly elevate the entire experience.

Felt rushed from beginning to end. Restaurant was empty, yet, the girls were trying to take your plate the moment you were served. They surrounded your table like hawks. Offered dessert in the middle of your meal. Beware, the menu is not what you see online. None of the old menu. Miss the old menu. New menu is Mainly Latin. Bar staff and drinks were good.
