With sweeping views of the NYC skyline and the Watchung Mountains, Alto Rooftop sits on the 9th floor at The MC Hotel, Autograph Collection. Open year round, the menu features playful bar bites and a curated cocktail list that captures the eclectic spirit of Montclair. Alto is the place to meet for a relaxing lunch (Fri.-Sunday), date night or for sharing food and drinks with friends. Alto is where daytime drinks can turn into late night vibes.

Bringing the energy from 9PM-1:30AM is one of our resident DJs, Toni B. No matter the Era you are in, this one-night-only event promises the ultimate glam and good vibes- don’t miss your chance to be part of it! Ticket includes entry to the party + toast upon arrival and at midnight + offering of delicious bites. Note: This is a private & ticketed event- 21+ years or older. Cash Bar. Came here as a group for the haunted brunch. We got a few spooky drinks and ordered some food. The rooftop is beautiful. The views are amazing. It's a very chill spot. The food portions were a bit small. So don't expect to get a full meal. Overall we enjoyed our brunch. Would definitely come again. Especially in the summertime

We went to the Masquerade Party and we had a blast. The DJ played all genres and the drinks were very good. The ambiance was full of positive energy! Very nice rooftop, you can see NYC!

We went for cocktails and enjoyed the stunning view of the city plus the gorgeous foliage. The server was very nice, the cocktails delicious and well crafted. We did not eat here but the food at the next table looked and smelled great! Would definitely come back for dinner and with friends.

I was hoping to be out on the dance floor dancing but the DJ kept changing the music every time people got up to dance. It seems like she had a mandate to just play music that people will not dance to, so they would stay in their sits eating and drinking.

The food left something to be desired, but the drinks and hospitality were great, as was the view and seating options. Let’s not forget about the music and ambiance, too.
