Situated in the Carmel Plaza in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, our bistro offers beers from our R&D program crafted on a pilot five barrel brewhouse - the only of its kind in one of the most picturesque and famed coastal towns in the country. Featuring an expansive, 60+ seat outdoor patio and a full bar, along with an ample dining room that can be sectionalized for private events. And the food! The Bistro offers California coastal cuisine with a regional twist, utilizing locally sourced ingredients that vary with the season.

Well located , parking available underneath the restaurant . Wide variety of food . Full bar , good wine list . Obviously big beer menu .

The food was good the server attentive. They started a Monday night Burger Night, fun and reasonably priced.

Great spot for snacks, burgers and beer. Easy parking on the street even on busy days. We had a great time here, we enjoyed the meal and the service was great!

Our party of 6 had a mixed experience here. Beer - particularly the German style - was really nice. The fried calamari was excellent. And the burgers were good. But the brisket sandwich was woefully dry. And the Asian wings, which the server said were not too spicy, were in fact sooo spicy that only one person in our party (not the one who ordered them) had the pain tolerance to eat them. We let the server know, and they offered to bring something else, but we declined as it was late and everyone was half done eating. Strangely, though, they were not removed from the bill. I might come back for beer and calamari, but for a meal there are much better options in the area.

We sat on the patio with our large dog- it was a cool, lovely evening! Fish/chips were wonderful and the Beet Salad is flavorful and fantastic! Yummy experience!
