Located in the heart of Westman Village in Mahogany, we are Calgary's favourite venue for live jazz, dancing, amazing food and drinks.

We are open Tuesday to Thursday at 5:00pm until late Friday to Sunday at 4:00pm to late with live entertainment every night. Come enjoy our Sunday Jazzy Brunch 10:00am to 2:00pm. Enjoy our fabulous Happy Hour from Tuesday to Thursday 5:00pm to 6:00pm and Friday to Sunday 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Ham on the Eggs Benny’s seemed to be days old, dry and tough. Bun was burnt around the edges. Hollandaise sauce was tasteless and barely enough to cover the eggs. The smashed potatoes were good. The chair I sat on was badly tattered, fake leather will do that but don’t leave it in the restaurant when it’s old and weathered like that, disgusting Unfortunately a disappointing experience.

Amazing experience, my fiance and I went on a Saturday the live music was amazing, as well as our server was so accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was great as well as the drinks. With the live music it was loud but nothing I personally would complain about as I will be back very soon and with friends.

Dinner at Alvin’s is always a very nice, relaxing evening. We started our evening off with the “House baked bread with carmines onions”. This was good, but it didn’t blow me away. I’ve had a reallly good truffle bread before and unfortunately this one fell a bit short. For my main, I went with the “6oz reserve Alberta beef tenderloin”. I was very happy that I was able to switch out the mushrooms for carrots without any fuss or charge :) This entree was stunning. No dessert, but did enjoy a German riesling wine ❤️

We had a great time, I haven't been to a live jazz performance for a long time. Thank you for the elegant atmosphere.

Wednesday Date night is an awesome value! $50 pp for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Also 1/2 price bottles of wine < $100

Salmon Lox on bagel was delicious with great service by Emily. Music wasn't too loud and very nice. Always a great place to eat at. Don

The food and the decor/ambiance was wonderful! The pianist was very talented and our server was very polite. They seemed a bit short staffed; no one to greeted us for a long time and no one around to collect our coats when we wanted to leave. Our biggest complaint is that you have to pay for parking. 3 out of 4 of us didn't know that and received a parking ticket of $70 each. This isn't necessarily the restaurant's fault, but it would be a good business practice for them to have asked us at check in if we were all aware of the parking requirements. (To clarify, we each paid a $2 parking fee and thought it was sufficient. Apparently not.)
