   The bone marrow tartare changed my life. Went for my wife’s birthday, lovely ambience, great music, small dance floor for later in the evening is great too. 10/10, fair prices for the portions and the food is unreal.

   We celebrated my partners birthday at Alvin’s Jazz club and it was everything we wanted and more. First, there is a light up menu, which is awesome since the ambience is darker in the restaurant. No squinting or needing to use a phone for light. We were amazed at this detail. Well done Alvin’s! The wine selection is vast, and caters to everything from lower end to higher end and everything in between! We had the scallops, which came in a little dome in which they were smoking on the inside. When our server lifted the dome, a beautiful smokey aroma filled the air. They were perfectly sautéed! For dinner we had the tenderloin steak and the 7 hour braised short rib. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the short rib was lean but still melted in your mouth. Both were so delicious! The Jazz musicians were so talented and played beautifully last night. We will definitely be back! One suggestion for the musicians if they are regular players there. I would suggest a QR code for the tip delivery as only a couple people there seemed to have cash to tip.

   The place was very relaxing starting with the fesh clean smell and the jazz music. Service was OK as our server was on auto mode. Didn’t really pay attention to the order and just decided on her own. Didn’t really check how we wanted our prime rib. But all other area it was an amazing experience. Will come back for sure.

   Went for the prime rib dinner and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, server was very good in substituting a couple of items for a person with dairy allergy. The volume of the music was perfect not too loud at all. Overall a really good evening out.

   Phenomenal food and the service was great. The artist had an amazing voice. The band was cool and sounded amazing. The only thing that would have been better is if they could play/sing a little softer so that people can converse.

   First time, lovely entertainment and ambience. The food was mediocre. My ravioli was either too thick or undercooked and the sauce temperature was to not hot enough. The flavour was there and had the above problems been different it would have been a delicious dish. The Caesar salad looked like something I could thro together with rusty ends. The tempura avocado would have been better cut into slices then tempura’d, half a tempura avocado is visually a let down. The other 2 meals were good. I feel the food quality didn’t really match the ambience. I think I wanted wow food. Probably will come another time due to the ambiance

    The music and ambience is amazing. The food, for how much is costs, we’ve had better for cheaper.
