   Amada was such an experience! We loved all the tapas and larger steak entrees. Service was amazing and the space itself is beautiful. Would definitely recommend to others and we will be back!

   Our first visit. There were 4 of us to celebrate 2 birthdays. They asked about the birthdays when we sat and nothing ever came or was mentioned again. We received 2 dinner menus and 2 brunch menus. When the server came to take a drink order she took the 2 brunch menus but never returned with dinner ones. Drinks were good and we ordered a bunch of tapas plates to try. Server suggestions were all of the most expensive items on the menu. Tapas overall were very good. Ham croquetas and bacon wrapped dates were ok. Garlic shrimp was excellent though crostini were stale that came with it. We tried almost every tapas and they were very good. Only exceptions were 1 of the 4 scallops was raw inside and 1 of 4 beef and potato skewer was raw, and they forgot about the pork belly until we asked multiple times. Service was attentive at the beginning but once we ordered was non existent. After dinner we sited a long time to get dessert menus and intended to order but were left a long while. When server returned we said we were originally interested in dessert but are passing since it took a long time for her to take our order. At that point, she walked away and brought a check. That was it. We will return for the food as it was overall really good; however, the service was below average and we would make sure we didn’t have the same server. For the prices, service should match the food and it fell way short.

   Was in town for a Villanova football game and to celebrate my birthday, so picked Amada for something special, and it did not disappoint. Everyone had a wonderful time. They even brought a round of champagne for us to celebrate on the house. Great service, food, and atmosphere. My daughter must have said “it smells fantastic in here” ten times when we got there! 😎

   The food was good. But the experience was ruined by the profound slowness of the food to table time. We ordered 5 or 6 tapas dishes. Two came out and it took over 35 minutes for the rest to arrive. Then they brought the paella as we were still finishing our first courses. They put the paella aside as they had to clear the first courses and we had to personally ask the wait person to bring over the paella. She was distracted and was getting cold. All in all it was disappointing.

    We had a delicious dinner from start to finish. It was our Anniversary and our server, Veer made us feel very special. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Overall wonderful experience and will be back! So glad we don’t have to travel to the city for tapas
