   This place is always a win for me! I’ve been coming here since they opened and they’re always solid. Food is delicious and well presented specially the humus selection! The service is absolutely impeccable which is a rarity in Miami let’s be honest… but not here, waiters are very attentive and friendly, it’s such a treat. And the ambiance is just so cozy. This restaurant is a gem in the Grove!

   All appetisers and main entrees were brought together. They forgot the drink order and brought it after we reminded them during the meal. Food was not as good as it was in my three previous visits. Went with great expectations based on previous visits but was disappointed.

   This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in the Grove and I come here all the time (I’ve been many dozens of times). The restaurant has a great vibe and the rooftop bar has great views. The food these days is still good, but I feel like they’ve been surpassed by their competition with similar kitchens. For example the bread feels stale and chewy where this is super fresh in most similar restaurants. What gives me a bit of a bad taste in my mouth though is their tipping policy. Both the rooftop bar and the restaurant add 20% to their check standard, something you usually only see in the very touristy places. Still, that’s fine I’m used to it. But the personnel is so pushy for you to tip on top of that, it just feels unpleasant. At the rooftop they tell you 20% is included and then give you the device to add a LOT more while they stare you down and make snarky remarks. Then in the restaurant if you try to skip it (after having paid and tipped a lot in the rooftop bar already), it won’t even just let you skip, you’ll have to double confirm that you want to skip. All the while 20% is already included. Tipping 20% at this restaurant they will make you feel like you haven’t tipped at all. That’s not a good feeling for their customers and I don’t think that’s okay behaviour for a restaurant.

   Food is always amazing. Today they had a band that was actually very nice however it was too loud. I could barely talk to my husband and friend. If they kept a tone down would be way better.

   We sat outside, the food was fantastic, the service was great, and the entertainment was top-notch. The only downside was the occasional honking from passing cars.

   Amal is a total vibe! The food was delicious. Make sure to try the labneh, truffle sticks, and the steak skewers.

    What a delicious, relaxing meal! The wait staff was very attentive and food was excellent. I had looked forward to this dining experience— for something not too heavy. We had Labneh and Baba ganoush, following a Lebanese 75 cocktail. The ambience is elegant and refreshingly light.
