   Have been once and won't be back, Ordered drinks and food at the same time - waited 20 minutes and the starters and drinks arrived together {the restaurant was approx 1/5 full), Starters were good. Pizza mains were very poor with only a little tomato style sauce on my Marinara and a few slices of pepperoni on my friend's Diabola. The sweets were also uninspired and tasteless. Not worth what we paid so our advice would be - think twice.

   Had a gift voucher for this restaurant and found it to be a good basic Italian-the pizza was just like the real deal! Staff were friendly and attentive.

   Very quiet when we were there Sat lunchtime. Service very friendly but the menu is not extensive. Great for a quick bite and good for children as they eat for free.

   Would not recommend. We had a Woucher said valued at almost £60, cost £35. Very limited menu and food awful, There are far nicer places in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

   We held the Edinburgh Royal Observer Corps Association Christmas Meal her at the Amalfino Restaurant.The service was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Food was excellent more than expected. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

   Staff very friendly and efficient, small Plates for starters were delicious but mains a burger and pizza were sub par.

   We both had the Tagliatelle Bolognese which was very tasty and had plenty bolognese. The crispy zucchini was tasty too. Nice calm atmosphere. We wanted a break before dessert and they were happy to leave us to decide when. All very relaxed.

   Service was very slow and had to be asked twice for our drinks, they ran out of pizzas by 2pm, I ordered chicken which was served raw I put the chicken back but had no time to wait on another because it took so long for the first chicken dish. I wouldn't go back or recommend. I understand they were busy at the bar because there was a football match on but diners were ignored because of this.

   We had a lovely lunch, with quick, attentive service. Food was good & I would definitely return.

    Very quiet restaurant on a wild & wet & windy Saturday night, there were only 2 other diners! The food was excellent - calamari, mozzerella, pizzas & pasta - and served quickly. Waiting staff were pleasant but obviously a bit bored. The premises were nicely furnished, clean & bright . It is on the tram & bus lines out of town towards the airport & we could imagine that it would be a great place for after rugby at Murrayfield too. We hope people get to hear about it as the food was good & not too pricey.
