I was excited to try Amara, and I will say that the food was good, and the ambiance was lovely. However, I was extremely disappointed when I received the bill. I ordered an espresso martini and asked the server to make it with belvedere vodka. I was never informed that this simple request would result in a $48 charge for one cocktail. When I questioned the price, the server explained it was due to the choice of vodka. While I understand premium spirits come at a higher cost, $48 for a single drink is absolutely outrageous. I've traveled to many countries and dined at high-end establishments, and I have never, ever paid $48 for a single cocktail. It's honestly absurd and feels like a complete rip-off. And I just want to make it very clear, I'm not a tourist, I live in Miami and know what is expensive and this is just ridiculous.

Amazing place, food is delicious. Great ambience. Amazing view of the bay. Service was incredible. I let them know we were here to celebrate a birthday and when we ordered desserts they proved a slice of cake with sparkles, which was a very nice touch. I’ll be coming back for sure.
