   Awesome experience at Amaru! Delicious food and it felt lively but was quiet enough for me to catch up with friends. Will definitely be back. .

   Amaru put together a restaurant week menu that was the culinary equivalent of a highlight reel. A bold and well-composed departure from the excellent regular menu, the $60, 3- course tasting menu exemplified the restaurant’s pan-Latin influence. As a four-person party we were able to taste every item from each of the three courses and every plate was a standout. All of the portions were nearly entre-sized and there was an exuberance in the flavors and textures that showcased the kitchen’s mastery. There wasn’t a single dish that I wouldn’t be delighted to see on the regular menu. As always the service was warm and attentive. Bravo.

   Incredible food - we went for restaurant week and it was absolutely worth it - we had an amazing multi course dinner that was not gimmicky, and instead truly highlighted such incredible dishes. Their specialty is the octopus and it is one of the best octopus I have ever had. The vegetarian meal was just as thoughtful and delicious as the steak. Absolutely worth every penny.

   Cuban oxtail!!! Must try. All food we had was fantastic and very uniquely flavored.

    This was the best dinner we’ve had in a long time. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The courses were well-timed and we didn’t feel rushed.
