Food is very good except the bitter quinoa in Pulpo al Josper and desserts that took half an hour to be served.

Overall it’s clear that the quality of the food is excellent and extremely well prepared. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. However, when we arrived we didn’t realize that they had extended their restaurant week and the server seemed thrown off that we didn’t want to order off of that menu (we were there a full 2 weeks post- restaurant week). I’m not sure if that’s the reason that our food took so long to come out but it did take a while for each dish. Picture a very small 3 bite dish (for 4 people) comes out and then you wait another 20 minutes for the next one, it was odd. Also our server was pretty absent during the meal and when he did come around, he always seemed to be trying to upsell us something (a couple hundred dollars for fish, an expensive bottle of champagne, etc.). Like I said, the food was very good but for how expensive it is, the experience did not measure up.

My dinner was exactly what I was looking for. I wish that I had room to try other dishes but my belly left very happy.

We went for restaurant week so I think there is room for improvement. But overall 4/5 stars. The scallops and the lomo saltado were amazing.

We spent more than $800 on a mid dinner, and honestly, it was not worth it. From the start, the experience was disappointing. I had trouble finding the restaurant, so I called for assistance, only to be met with an incredibly rude host who said, “This is not my problem. I have no idea where you are. Go on your phone and search up the address.” When we finally arrived, they crammed our party of six into a tiny table right at the bar—elbows touching—despite the entire back room being open with spacious booths. It felt like they just didn’t care about comfort or the dining experience. The ambiance is dark and moody, but honestly, it’s giving dim-lit rainforest cafe. We came here for a birthday dinner, expecting at least a little effort to make the experience feel special, but this location completely ruined the celebration. There was nothing done to acknowledge the occasion, and the overall treatment made it feel like just another rushed and overpriced meal. As for the food? Completely underwhelming for the price. The $180 market Japanese fish (1lb) was nothing special, and overall, the meal did not live up to the hype. If you’re looking for high-quality Peruvian food at a fair price, I’d recommend La Limeña in Rockville, Maryland—you’ll get the same quality food without the ridiculous price tag. Wouldn’t return.

Hi Eric, I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience with us. We pride ourselves on our atmosphere, service, and food quality. We truly are sorry that you don't feel as though the experience lived up to its expectations and hope to deliver better another time. However, our hostess, which I overheard on the phone, let you know she didn't understand where in the city you were and could not help give you directions. She did not say 'this is not my problem'. The table you sat at is one of our more comfortable in the restaurant and we've never gotten feedback before that it is uncomfortable for six guests. We sent your guest complimentary dessert with a candle and also sent complimentary toasts from the bar for this birthday celebration. We hope another visit will do more to impress you.

We went to try the restaurant week menu and omg we were shocked at how delicious everything was from drinks to dessert was 10/10. Service was excellent and I love how our server was so detail oriented by explaining our dishes and the restaurant itself is so beautiful and they had amazing music I was jamming to the whole time. I can’t wait to go back with my friends to explore the whole menu!
