    The food was delicious and the atmosphere was playful, fun, and bright. Food was brought out to us in a timely manner. Highly recommend the Aijvar, shakshuka, salmon Benedict and donut holes. My only issue was that our server wasn’t very attentive. It felt like she was trying to ignore us when we were trying to get her attention. She didn’t check on us while we were eating or offer to refill water. She did not clear up plates as we finished dishes (we had a small table it was getting hard to keep dishes on the table). Overall food and atmosphere was great, service could have been better.

    The service was incredibly slow, took almost 20 minutes after we were seated to get service.

    The ambience, food and service was excellent. It was a great place to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my hubby.

    Ambar is always a reliable place to eat when we are really hungry and want to try a variety of things. The service is excellent every time.

    Generally unimpressive. Was still charged $11 per glass of wine even though the waitress told us the drinks were included in the $55/pp menu. The roasted lamb was so salty it was inevitable. It was all such a disappointment

    Always recommend Ambar for lunch—the Ambar Experience is a great choice, with a good variety. Today, the food was excellent and well presented. Service was great. Noise level was a bit high, but manageable.

    We went for Ambar’s $25 Restaurant Week lunch, but their everyday lunch - at $28 - is a 365-day outstanding bargain. You get unlimited number of dishes from a very long menu, and your appetite will be sated before your desire to order more is abated. The dishes may not be headline grabbing but they are all very good. There are goodies for vegetarians, pescatarians & meat lovers.

    As always, the food was great, but the service this time was pretty bad. We had one person at our table who has food allergies and the waitress was not accommodating at all. It took us talking to another waiter, who then brought out the allergen menu half way through our meal! They kept telling that person they were bringing out special food for her but then never told us which dishes were the allergy ones - they would just leave it randomly on the table. The whole experience was terrible for her so don’t recommend eating here if you have any allergies!!
