While my family loves the Homestead and eating at the dining room, we were very unimpressed this last visit. We were not told on booking that it would be a buffet for dinner. The food was mediocre. The ambience has also gone downhill and there were many groups who did not follow the dress code. The overall experience was disappointing.

Honestly a true gem. The food was incredible. Service was on point. Atmosphere was beautiful. I was surprised for a hotel restaurant that this exceeded all expectations

The food and service were outstanding. I was a little disappointed that we only had a piano player; in the past there has been a trio. We were there after the Valentines weekend, and there was a small crowd, so the piano was a bit loud without the crowd. All in all, our favorite dining experience at The Homestead.

We have dined at the Omni before and I think it was just a very busy weekend for them. The food took awhile and when we received it, it was cold. The wait staff is amazing. I wish the dessert menu was a bit better.

My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. When we arrived we were only given the option of a buffet. Not anything I would pick for our 42ond anniversary. Then the food was mediocre at best, cold and almost $300 with a drink for each of us. Very disappointing

Our first experience here was a Valentine's Day buffet, which was billed as having a seafood tower station, part of the reason we booked. Unfortunately, the "seafood tower" amounted to shrimp and a some oysters. Not even close to a tower. Moving on from there, the cream of mushroom soup was the consistency of paste, with so much added flour. It was inedible. The prime rib was unexceptional. We weren't impressed and unfortunately had very few options at the resort. The Omni needs to seriously rethink their strategy with this property and the Omni William Penn. We've experienced terrible buffet experiences at both recently.

We were here for the Seafood Buffet on Friday. Don’t believe the descriptions- the food was unimpressive at best. There was a single carving station with meat that looked like it had been sitting there for awhile (we were there at 7:15!) and the other options were limited. The sides were bland and had also been sitting. Desserts were mass produced cookies and two tarts, very disappointing. This was definitely not worth the significant price.
