Our server greeted us with a big smile, was very energetic, kind, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us select our dinner choice. Our water was consistently replenished. And we enjoyed the additional surprise appetizers that the chef sent out. Truly a great experience!

The very sweet servers are stumbling over themselves to do a very good job. They were all friendly and aiming to please. As people who don’t drink alcohol, there were two mocktails on the menu, we each tried one. Mine was very good, a cherry vanilla soda drink. The other, my friend said was good but I wouldn’t be able to drink it because it was spicy, a pomegranate ginger, habernero drink. There was no NA beer and as a culinary institute, one would think that they should know that NA beer is on the rise. We each ordered a salad, the beet one and the squash one, both had very little taste to them, they needed a little zing. They looked lovely but were lacking. I had the hanger steak special with pumpkin purée and it was phenomenal. My friend had the fish special, bass, and she liked it. We each had desserts, the carmelized tart and the banana pudding. They brought them out with candles on them since we were celebrating our birthdays but no singing which was really nice!! Both were delicious. Also, homemade rolls at the beginning, mmmmmm with homemade butter! Lovely evening, just need to add something to the salads!

We were at the last seating (8:30pm) and my friend was running late but they still got our orders in and were very accommodating & gracious. Our waiter was very friendly & enthusiastic. They gave us a nice little amuse bouche to start. My friend got the beet starter which she liked & we shared the shrimp appetizer (my favorite) and the agnolotti (ok). My friend really enjoyed her duck duo main and my scallops were cooked well, if not memorable. We washed it all down with a glass of Riesling. Unfortunately didn’t have time for dessert!
