Imagine a Tapas place with no Sangria on the menu or even to order to be made if desired. The menu was not true to Tapas and the food was not impressive. We did have an experience that would give us a reason to go back. The octopus was not cooked well. There was a lot of people there, its not for us.

I''ve been to American Tapas five times this year, and I hardly ever go to a restaurant twice during the winter season. Like the decor, the vibe, the food. My favorite food being the Spinach-Artichole Dip, the Fried Cauliflower, the Chicken and Waffles and the S'mores. Also enjoy the Espresso Martinis. The live music is usually good too.

Good for, good service, fun atmosphere. However, beware they automatically add a mandatory tip to the bill, even for just a party of two.

I decided to try this place out on Valentines Day and left very disappointed. Took forever for my wife to get her Lemon Drop Martini as they had only 1 person working the bar. Gotta do better, especially on Valentines Day! The peel n eat shrimp was just awful, the skillet cornbread was meh, and the only decent tapa we had was the spinach artichoke dip. My wife’s Cajun shrimp fettuccine was decent as was my snapper filet, but the service overall was just bad. I dislike that they automatically charge you a 20% gratuity when the service did NOT warrant a 20% gratuity, but rather more like an 8%! Allow the paying customer to decide how much they should tip! I always typically tip 20% or higher when the service is outstanding, but the service was terrible that night! Not ever going back!

Really great spot. The food was really great and the live music just added to a wonderful meal. You need to try it!
