The best award-winning steakhouse in the area! Worth the drive from Banner Elk (13 miles), Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain (30 minute drive) , Johnson City or wherever you are. Americano Steak House is a local, veteran-owned restaurant featuring hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, amazing salads, 1/2 pound steak-burgers, decadent desserts and the only full liquor bar in the East Tennessee mountains will over 100 wines by the bottle and glass.

We kindly ask that you do not show up early for your reservation, but simply on time. We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.

While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm. No shows and same day cancellations are the plague of the industry and we ask of you to uphold your end of this commitment as we are thrilled to provide on our end.

The Americano is never disappointing. The service is always good, the food is the best, and the people are fantastic. Last summer, we took some of our relatives that were visiting from Texas. They were visiting again this week and specifically asked to go back again, they loved it as much as we do. my cousin was celebrating a birthday as well and the owner comp'd a bread pudding dessert for us! It was the best bread pudding I've ever tasted in my life! You'll never go wrong in choosing the Americano. It's definitely worth the drive and definitely worth the wait, should you ever have to!

Very nice evening. Food and service were very good. Cocktails the best around. As always it was pretty noisy. Table of four is the most I would recommend, table of six the absolute max if you want group table conversations.

Been there several times. Probably my favorite place to eat. Service was excellent. Wife’s food was great. Dessert was great. My only complaint was my food wasn’t as good as it normally is.
