We had a great time at Amerigo with friends tonight. I just love the family running this restaurant, they always make us feel warm and taken care of. The food was incredible. I practically licked the plate clean from my veal marsala and although I try not to eat dessert, the cannoli was irresistible. This is a must dine restaurant!

The mains are amazing. If the pasta is the main, it is typically off the hook. They make their own pasta, and it’s terrific. If the pasta is a side, it’s very touch and go, as are the other sides. We had a few apps: calamari was very good, and the pasta soups were also very good. We had a chicken parm last night with pasta side, and the pasta was very overdone, but it was such a small side portion, we didn’t send it back. The chicken was fantastic. We also had a NY strip, which was slightly over-salted, but still excellent. The large pile of shoe string potatoes, however, were soggy and had obviously been sitting out. Again, didn’t complain because I intended on bringing them home anyway, and I can crisp them up with the leftover steak. Our waiter, Bruno, was excellent. Perfect balance of attention and giving time to decide and connect with our party.

Great Italian cooking. Well appointed dining room that's not too stuffy, with a nice crew and a fun vibe. Well worth a visit. We've become regulars!

So, we've been to this establishment when it was a sushi place and a seafood place, its close to home. I will say, Amerigo should be here to stay, the food and the staff was excellent and VG sized servings. The energy level hit you when you walked in the door. My only quips were Im not a fan of the small square "table for 2" being about 18" between our table and both neighbors. I feel that you couldnt have a personal conversation w/out neighbors hearing you, but because of the ambient noise we managed to keep to ourselves.. The only other quip I had was that when I asked for more iced tea, they charged me $3.50 for it. Still, those aside, didnt diminish the dining experience and I would definitely come back. The wait staff...Nicole, our waitress was attentive and the bus boys on top of things. Thx!

Really exceptional Italian food. Highly recommend the eggplant Parmesan. It’s grilled! Salads and pastas are delicious too. This is a go to place for us during the week.
