At Amor we are building a vibrant fare with Northwest ingredients but using the traditions of the great cuisine countries of the world: Spain, Italy, France, Morocco and more. We want you to experiment and try our tapas as part of your dining experience. Please order and entrée if you would like, but indulge in the tapas and the experience.

The small plates will be delivered are so much fun.

Please also spoil yourself with the ample purveyed wines from around the world. Our food is meant to be eaten with wine so also see our pairings. Warm yourself through our beautifully appointed dining room while you share the love of each other and your friends.

We visited on valentines day. Semi Pre Fixe menu. Food was good, though parts were not very warm They were way off book for their area of expertise (tapas). They pulled it off well though. The quality was good. Room was quite smoky because kitchen was not set up for the meals they were preparing. Door was left open to help relieve the smokiness, but it made for a cold breeze to run through the bar area where we sat. Parking can be a challenge, street, and some local lots, but it is a treasure hunt. Overall with the quality of the food and service, we will give it another try in the near future.

The food, drinks, and service were amazing! I went for their Valentines Dinner and had a wonderful time.

GREAT wine selection and good place if you love great wine but don't really know how to talk about it (like me). Great entrees and Tapas to go with. We'll be back!

The rice was undercooked even though the manager said it was from the bottom of the pan but it was every bite was undercooked rice and it took only 20 minutes to cook typical paella takes 45 min The place can’t keep their staff that’s why on a Saturday two severs and a bartender. can’t keep up with the service they didn’t even take time to train the new server on what she was serving The sangria had flowers in it instead of fruit I mean it’s ok to be different but common why make it nasty and then when you can’t taste the saffron I the paella then forget it your just wasting money on someone who said one day I want to open a tapas restaurant

Amor is more than great food and wine on a Saturday night! This place will transport you to Spain with flamenco guitar and flamenco dancers. Whenever we want an escape we choose Amor. Be sure to make reservations because this place will not be Tacoma’s best kept secret for long.

This experience was a comedy of errors. I made this reservation month ago for my wife and I along with several of our close friends. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and told two of our party were already here. We were led through a very congested space outside of their kitchen window. There were to many tables packed in with staff trying to do their job leaving us to stand and what for the flow to settle before we could be seated. As we were seated next to half our party I immediately noticed that our table was not set. (This never changed through our whole experience). The last two of our party arrived and it was several minutes before our server Nadine visited our table. She immediately introduced herself and then asked if we were ready to order drinks (we still have not been given water or had the rest of the table set for our party size. I let her know that we don’t even have enough menus at the table for all of us to have even attempted to have chosen a drink. We asked for menus and waters. Menus were delivered and water was not. This is when you notice just how dark the restaurant is and also how small the print of the menus are. Drinks were ordered along either our dinner selection. 4 of us ordered their full tasting men(which involves every tapas they offer and your choice of an entree), the other two order several of the larger shareable tapas. The latter group ordered the empanadas as one of their shareable and at the time were told they were running out and could only each have a single portion. Half of our drinks were delivered and several minutes later when we were able to flag down Nadine and ask where the rest were she apologized and said “someone showed up an hour and a half late to work”. This was the communication for most of the night where blame was verbally placed on all the departments. Then the live Flamenco performance started…an extreme auditory disaster. Plywood boxes being stomped…I see I am not going to able to finish this

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Saw they had live music on Facebook and decided to give it a try. The service was outstanding, we sat in the bar and I didn’t get the guy‘s name but he was an amazing bartender was able to take excellent care of the entire Bar full of people who were eating and drinking - the food was outstanding, we ordered the tapas sampler, and a butter ensemble and the steak and everything was fantastic. The music was wonderful a little loud while they were playing but that’s to be expected when you’re going to listen to live music of course. We will definitely be back in the near future one of our favorite restaurant now.

As usual great food and drinks. Freshly prepared. Bonus was live jazz band friday night. Highly recommended
