   Fabulous night out for a special occasion - the food was lovely and the staff were a delight with the right amount of attention. The tables are spacious and I was pleased to see both pets and children were catered for and were very unobtrusive. Would definitely go again

   Food was exceptional. I’d put in an email at the time of booking that I was vegan and the care taken to provide something that looked every bit as delicious as the non-vegan food was first class. Such clever combinations of flavours and textures. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had an itison voucher and thought the whole experience was great value.

   A lovely meal, in equally lovely setting .., staff were attentive. We went for the taster menu which did not disappoint.. portion size was just perfect!! Will certainly be back Ash

   Went for Sunday Lunch on the 20th of January, and the food and service was great - could not fault it. However, we had booked this with the understanding that the Sunday Lunch menu was still £26.50 for 2 courses and £35 for 3, as per the website and previous visits. I was shocked to see that the 2 course price had increased to £35, while 3 courses was a whopping £45! This topped with the "optional service charge" of 12.5% meant that I paid £44 for 2 courses and an appletiser. I felt like I couldn't say anything at the time, as I was just shocked, and I know it is not the fault of the Front of House, who were incredibly attentive. I couldn't even consider paying £10 for a dessert on top. Having booked this meal for the value for money , I was very disappointed and won't be rushing back despite enjoying the food. If your prices are going to significantly increase, I think its fair to share this information on your website, so as not to mislead potential customers. I strive to support local in Aberdeen, especially with its current disrepair, but this makes it difficult. I understand this is a "higher-end" restaurant but they're surely can't be any justification to suddenly increase your prices by over 30% without informing customers.

    Food was very nice but only just warm. Disappointing for reputation and the table was so cold we wouldn't have been warmer outside. Thank goodness I had a pit of tea to warm the butter as it was rock hard and just broke up the bread. Tart was burnt.
