We had the most amazing meal. Food was amazing, Michelin star quality without the price tag. Vibe was perfectly casual but buzzy. Loved being able to people watch from the window. Will recommend to everyone and definitely be back.

Overrated place that most likely wouldn’t have received a Michelin in any other major city. We paid 75 per person for lunch. Amongst the dishes were overcooked lamb and heavily salted seafood broth. On top of that, every waitress that passed by seemed obligated to remind us that our table reservation was expiring in half an hour. Way too excessive and overboard. If you must try this place go for drinks and skip the food. Your wallet will thank you.

The food was superb but we felt under pressure to be in and out as quick as possible. Our food was served within 5mins of placing the order. When asked if we wanted dessert 30mins into our reservation, we asked for a few more mins to decide, only to be told they need to check when the next booking on the table is due. This was 40mins into our reservation. Food was faultless, but would not go back or recommend.

After reading about Amy Austin for several months I decided to try it out. I’m sorry to say that I won’t be returning, mainly due to the very poor value of the “plates” we ordered. A single scallop in a foam was €18, a very small (but very tasty wedge of cabbage was €14). I understand that costs are high and restaurants are struggling but this was at a level that was disappointing. The Michelin Guide has given Amy Austin a Bib Gourmand, we were paying minimum 1 star prices.

The food was beautiful but the portions were very small and we were still hungry leaving even with getting desert. I thought it was very expensive to still feel hungry leaving and I felt the service was quite rushed and there wasn't time to sit over your food and enjoy it.

Tried to walk in at approx 230pm today - we were abruptly told no table if we dont have a reservation...despite there being 10/12 spaces free at the bar. Went to another bar & checked Amy Austin's availability online - there were several tables free every 15 minutes. Made a booking for 15 mins later - walked back in & again we were greeted with the same rude waitress who said they had no tables if we didnt have reservation. I then gladly told her, that we had one. Rest of staff were very nice, wine on tap was very good & food was delicious (albeit very small portions for the price paid) Wouldnt return because of the rude welcome received twice.
