Great location and lovely staff. Food is overpriced and under quality. The goats cheese share pockets are literally empty - full of air! The chicken skewers were soggy. It was very cold in the rooms, a lot of people kept coats and scarfs on. They had an issue with the revolving front door - they offered blankets but should have offered free drinks at least. Glad it was a quick pre theatre eat so we didn’t have to stay long.!

staff were very pleasant & kind to our clildren. Felt service could have been a bit faster at the end as they were aware we were attending a show in Bord Gais. we were a party of 5 and had an excellent experience. Food and drink were top notch. Setting is nice. Thank you Anantara.

Fantastic place to eat, drink and unwind. Staff are all very attentive and friendly & atmosphere is wonderful. Would highly recommend

We were waiting over an hour for our food. It was only when we asked what the delay was that we were told there was an issue in the kitchen which caused the delay. When the food arrived it was cold. I ordered the steak sandwich which was €29. It had very little filling and was tasteless. We complained at the end and were given 50% off - overall a poor experience.

Great venue. Excellent food at reasonable prices for such a good venue with friendly professional service. Perfect pre threatre option.

The service was excellent. very friendly. We were running late on the night, the hotel was very busy but the manager ensured we we got our food order in straight away and made the show wee were attending in Bord Gáis. Very kind. And the burger was delicious. Thank you so much. Very grateful to the staff.

We had the pre-theatre menu and it was excellent. The service was very attentive, helpful and pleasant, ranging from recommending the wines to go with our choices, explaining the menu and just exchanging pleasantries. We tend to avoid hotel restaurants because the food can be bland - this cannot be said of the Marker. We will be back again. The 5 stars are fully deserved.

Food order took a long time (c. 40 mins). Ordering system was broken apparently. Fish and chips were good. Steak sandwich and chips were cold. Didn’t have time for veg. Manager acknowledged delay and knew we went late for show. Got full bill of €79 to include above plus a coke and a sparkling water.

Disappointed! All the seating in the bar low was down and uncomfortable to eat your food at the table. We requested to sit outside however we were told that you could not eat outside. I thought the menu would be more appetising. The club sandwich looked amazing however was wet and soggy in the middle and the beef sandwich was very dry and difficult to digest. We went outside with our drinks to discover that food was being served outside which I would have found more comfortable as the seating was higher. The staff however were very friendly and attentive.
