Came on Xmas eve. Wasn’t to busy most probably most had family plans or travel. Billy our server did an excellent job making sure all was attended too and we were satisfied. Food was decent, mixed drink seemed ok, had better cocktails. Would come back during warmer weather.

We dined during one of the busiest nights of the year, during the holiday boat parade and fireworks show. Apparently they were understaffed, so I don’t want to criticize the service. Our waitress was doing the best she could. But the food. Oh my. First, they were out of the steak which was the one dish I really wanted. Next, their online menu said they had sliders on the kids menu, but their actual menu doesn’t have them and they don’t offer them. Which was a bummer for my kiddo. Next, the oysters we ordered didn’t taste great and then we found a tiny crab whose legs were still moving in one of the oysters 🤢 Lastly, we asked for mashed potatoes as our side instead of French fries. The dish came with French fries, and we didn’t want to send it back due to the staff clearly being overwhelmed. But when we tasted the fries they had been clearly cooked in rancid oil. Honestly, the location is prime but the food was worse tan airplane fare. Will not be coming back.

Great view but the food was horrible. One lunch was scrambled eggs salmon and potatoes. The potatoes and salmon were so salty we could not eat them, eggs were ok. The other food was a Philly sandwich, that was so over cooked, I throughout most of it, the fry’s were ok and for some reason not to salty…

I order Sea Bass. My date ordered the Salmon. Sea Bass was over cooked. Dry. Salmon was under cooked. Middle of fish was still sushi. Means chef does not know how to cook fish. It was only restaurant on water front with a reservation available at 07:00pm. It was nearly empty when we walked in. It is a beautiful location. Nice music playing on the Patio. Some of the best view on waterfront. Place should be packed. It is the food. Kitchen needs help.

Made reservations to celebrate a birthday. Got seated at the time we requested the reservation. However, no one acknowledged us for over half an hour, not even to offer us some water or take our drink order. We got up and left. Worst service that I have ever seen.

Great food and service on the rooftop with great views of the Marina. Finished off nicely with a couple of drinks at the bar.

We made a request with our reservation (thank you greatly for allowing ‘request’ when booking a reservation). Our request was honored and our server, Billy was truly personable~ an asset to any well run service business; especially restaurants. Be forewarned….the Cobb salad is huge and the dressing they used is superb. Additionally, the clam chowder bowl IS a big serving. We loved the added touch of leaving a fresh ground pepper mill at our table after grounding by our server. Chowder was scrumptious with lots of clam. Perfect meal, quiet, comfortable and beautiful atmosphere~ We found this a delightful experience. Best wishes to Pete and Billy!

Worst place we’ve been in years. The only thing going for this place is the harbor view. We ordered drinks and it took 15 minutes for my glass of wine and my husband’s glass was forgotten completely. The restaurant wasn’t busy so not sure why the slow service. We put our food order in and waited 40 minutes. Our waitress comped our drinks due to the delay but overall this was a big disappointment and waste of an evening.

Our expectations were clearly too high going in. We had walked from the opposite end of the beach to get there, only to find there was a private party that night occupying the patio area, so we were seated upstairs the old 2nd floor bar area. We all looked around and questioned the decade of the last remodel there. This area of the restaurant was quite dark, perhaps for good reason. We could barely see our food or the view of the harbor & Santa Ynez mountains (the best and perhaps only reason for coming here). Speaking of the food, the burger was passable but nobody finished their fries (that never happens with this bunch). I had the Chili Rellenos con Camarones, but had like 3 shrimp in the whole dish. But the most disappointing thing was the wildly underwhelming Fried Calamari. The calamari was not fresh-caught, despite the restaurant's harbor location. Our table unanimously gave it a big thumbs down. Service likewise was uninspiring. And the wine list was too limited. And they were out of Heineken. The list of miscellaneous disappointments keep racking up. We tried to focus on watching the Olympics to make the best of their sports bar like ambiance, and take our minds off where we could have eaten. We will not go back. In a city with so many amazing restaurant alternatives, I would recommend others avoid wasting their dining opportunities here.
