Fantastic welcome and attentive service. The menu is handwritten which is interesting but hard to read and looked a bit scruffy. Menu choice varies but not great for a vegetarian (choice of 2 types of pasta). Rigatoni wasn’t great and I didn’t finish it. We had olives for appetizer but they were hard with stones in and we weren’t given side plates so we had to leave the stones on the tablecloth which was a little unsightly, this being a business lunch. I probably wouldn’t book again. Food needs to improve.

As charming & delightful as I remember, and throughout all the time I’ve been coming here (& that’s since AE took it over from being an Austrian wine bar !)

Me and my friends call Andrew Edmund’s our London Club. It is just so welcoming. Lovely team, fabulous food and wine. We visit again and again … and again.

I like this restaurant a great deal. The ingredients are always fresh and the choice of dishes seasonal. This time, I had an Italian beef stew. My colleague had skate. Both dishes were superb. The bread was as good as ever. I’m very glad that I discovered this place when I started working in Soho.
