    This could have gone badly but it was fixed. When I arrived I was told that despite having a reservation there was no table available for 2 unless we sat at the bar. I didn't want to do that as the front door is nearby and it would be cold. The young lady who was working the front seemed to be more concerned about the other reservations coming in behind us, when I felt that shouldn't be the concern at the moment. She said she would ask the manager how to accommodate us and when she returned she said to give her a moment and a table would be prepared for us. Upon going to the table, I was perplexed as to why there was ever a concern because the table we were at was just for 2 anyway. Once that was resolved I was in a much better mood! The guac was fresh and the mimosas were "bottomless" and the French toast was amazing! I ordered the Huevos rancheros and it was very good. The cost was well worth everything that we got.

    Great service, drinks and food. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. Though the tables were close together and the restaurant was full, there was still ample space to move around. Only down side was some plates were small for the the price. For example, we had the large plate of octopus as a main and while it was really good, the portion was quite small for the price. Will be back. I can't wait to try their brunch!!

    The restaurant was crowded and loud and the server we had often disappeared for long periods of time. The food was excellent, however and when I added to my OpenTable reservation that I wanted a quiet table, they did at least put us in the back which helped some. My low ratings in some categories was because my daughter (who was celebrating her birthday) was brought a flan at the end of our meal with something akin to a firecracker in it. That was very nice, but, when I received my bill for the meal, I was shocked to see that I was charged for it! I didn’t ask for this and didn’t even want it because we had cake back at home. The $9 flan at the end left me with a sour taste after an otherwise good meal.
