If life in Belgrade is big party, Angry Monk is the newest, hottest, block party in town. The place is decorated in a homey atmosphere and dominated by a long bar, behind which the cooks do their best out-in-the-open. As far from your typical Sushi place, Angry Monk suggests Japanese and Pan-Asian influenced food. The menu features dishes that are the result of a long and thorough learning process in the land of the rising sun with the local ingredients. The design is influenced by the big cities of Tokyo and Kyoto .

    Average food taste, small portions, comparing to alternatives highly overpticed. Server was very kind but obviously lacking skills . Altogether needs much more improvement in order to justify price level and posh wannabe experience.

    Sowohl das Essen (die Rolls sind für mich die besten, die ich bisher gegessen habe) als auch die Cocktails schmecken hervorragend 👍👍👍👍

    We made a reservation for New Years Eve and on the day we were told that they Lost our reservation and that there was only a table outside. We were told that there were blankets an heaters, but when we arrivied there was only one blanket for the three of us and we were no way near a heater. The food was ok, but Nothing special.

    Angry Monk was an amazing experiance would highly recommend to everyone not only was the service outstanding but every item on the menu is a must try, will definatly be coming back.

    Amazing food & cocktails! Service was great, as well as very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend the eggplant for a starter. Had a great main course with the pork ribs, and the sushi (all of it) was great! We will be back soon :)
